Hello to a new season of this newsletter.
Hope everyone has enjoyed my newsletter so far and if you did, thanks for that. I will continue to display my work and display my thoughts on pop culture. We are almost into return to school season as this is released so let’s assume that I will be pulling thiese off my butt on a semi weekely basis for now unless something else happens.

Why did I become a comic book fan?
I became a fan of comic books pretty much because I like the marriage of illustration and the written word and how it makes one and the other work out together. From the industry standard Superheroes to Science Fiction and Fantasy and everything in between, there’s something for almost everybody.

How did I get into comic books?
Blame it on me as a child watching cartoons on an almost daily basis since I was at least either 5 or 6 years old I think. My first exposure to comic books were those DC based cartoons was FIlmation Associates’ The Adventures of Superman. It’s first version of Batman was what I’ve watched and DC’s other characters like The Atom, Hawkman and The Teen Titans and The Justice League of America. Hanna Barbera’s Fantastic Four was something I’ve watched too. The Marvel Super Heroes shorts I’ve watched too and some superheroes Hanna Barbera made from the 1960’s too.
What else am I into?
Anime? Yes, and have watched it since the days of Battle Of The Planets aka Gatchaman and Robotech (Macross, Southern Cross, Mospeda). Heck GI Joe and Transformers were animated by Toei Animation back then. Whateever anime that has comeout within the last 25 to 30 years I have seen it or have seen it when I was part of an anime club when it was active. Maybe someday I’ll talk about my time there.
Going to the movies and working out is some of the other things I do on a daily basis.
Why call myself a retired collector?
Because collecting has become expensive and sometimes time consuming. I was going to say boring as well but that’s not the case to me. I’ve known some very intresting people because of my activities as a collector and nothing can stop that for me. I used to collect physical media such as fan subtitled VHS tapes and DVD’s and Blu Ray’s and years ago I’ve go rid of them for the sake of personal space. I still read comic books these days but not like I used to read first issues of certain books and keep buying said books if I like the presentation inside the pages. I still buy trade paperbacks and buy them once in a bit.
Sports?
Not really a sports person, but i’m willing to watch if there’s nothing else to watch on a particular day or night. I do watch the occasional NBA game or a NFL game now and then. Pro-wrestling is what I watch most of the time. WWE mostly, but AEW has grown on me the last few years it has been on my TV wacthing radar.
Got some news to share…
I have a T-shirt design made for The Art Collective, a art studio I’m a member of and been recently started volunteering and helping out around the studio with some things. We have shirts of us from the collective creating designs printed on water based ink. Avalible in all sizes and only in short sleeves at the moment.
Our shirts are avalible for sale through our website for purchase at the following:

Please check out our shirts and help me and my fellow artists at the collective and have some wearable art to display.
See you all next time as I figure out when to talk about next.

Your comic book style is really great! When I first clicked on your profile, I couldn't tell what any posts were about or see thumbnails of the art inside. I highly recommend you post your art above the text, so it will appear in the thumbnail, and title your posts so people will want to see more of it! You're a good artist with good taste. :)
Thanks for the compliment and for the advice. I hope you have checked my other entries in this newsletter and see if I'm missing anything. Regardless, I appreciate and I'll so my best to get better and display more BTS material on my newsletter in the future.
